One of the most beloved American families was and continues to be the Huxtable family, an African-American upper-middle-class family living in Brooklyn, New York. Americans followed Bill Cosby, as father and doctor Cliff, and Phylicia Rashad as mother and lawyer Clair, as they raised their five busy children, and tackled tough life lessons as a family. The Huxtables try to teach their kids about responsibility, relationships, and help them through the challenges of growing up. Eventually the children grow up, marry and have their own children, with new adventures and new lessons are learned.
