8. Family Ties (1982-1989)
You know you loved the Keaton family. With parents Steven and Elyse, the Ohio family never had dull moment as old hippies known to clash their liberal values with the conservative ones of their older children. Alex, played by Michael J. Fox became the true star of the family, as a traditional young Republican, alongside his old-fashioned sister Mallory. This family taught us quite a bit about the generational and cultural clashes of the 1980s.
