3. Shark Tale
Black voiced a computer-animated shark in this 2004 animated comedy. Black lent his voice to Lenny, a shark, who happened to be a vegetarian. Black joined other big name actors like Will Smith, Robert DeNiro, Angelina Jolie and Renée Zellweger. The movie told the story of a young fish named Oscar, voiced by Smith, who lied by saying that he killed the son of a shark mob boss to look good and further his reputation. Black’s distinctive voice gave Lenny, who didn’t want to be a killer, a heart of gold. Even though animated, Black imbued the misunderstood shark with his own brand of wit and humor.
