8. Year One
This 2009 adventure comedy was written and directed by Harold Ramis, of Ghostbusters fame. Here, Black played a hunter/caveman named Zed, alongside actor Michael Cera’s gatherer/caveman named Oh. There were laughs abounds as the two encountered the legendary Hebrew brothers Cain and Abel and got themselves mixed up in one absurd biblical situation after another. It got mostly negative reviews from critics but diehard Black fans delighted as Black infused the film with his own unique style.
