9. Envy
In this 2004 comedy directed by Barry Levinson, who also directed 1988’s Rain Man and 1987’s Good Morning, Vietnam, Black paired up with comedian Ben Stiller as they poked fun at one the seven deadly sins…ENVY! Black’s character, Nick Vanderpark and Stiller’s character, Tim Dingman, played best friends but when Vanderpark, an amateur inventor, invented a product that takes off, hilarity ensued as Dingman’s jealousy and envy of his success grew and festered. Though it performed badly in theaters, the duo of Stiller and Black created many high point comedic moments!
