This 2006 romantic comedy written, produced and directed by Nancy Myers, gave moviegoers a whole new take on Black, as a romantic lead! Co-starring with Cameron Diaz, Jude Law and Kate Winslet, Black played Miles, a quirky film composer. Winslet and Diaz played Iris and Amanda, respectively, as two heartbroken women, who temporarily exchanged homes to escape heartbreak during Christmas. Black’s instant chemistry with Winslet was undeniable as moviegoers saw him for the first time in a romantic setting. Black’s signature wit and lightheartedness made him a delight to watch and moviegoers fell in love with his original portrayal of an all-around nice guy. If you’re a Jack Black fan, who loves his humor but wants some romance mixed in, I highly recommend this movie!
