1. 'Halloweentown' (1998)
Picking a number one original movie was tough. There are so many to choose from and most (some) are pretty good. To say that I didn’t enjoy wanting trailers for all of them would be a lie. But 'Halloweentown' is a classic. The film didn’t have big names to make it good. It was just a good story with a fun plot. There wasn’t a lesson at the end. It just summed up Halloween.
'Halloweentown' follows the story of Marnie Piper and her journey as she realizes that she is a witch. There is her grandmother Aggie, who is a witch as well, and her mother Gwen, who doesn’t want Marnie to be a witch. 'Halloweentown' had four sequels, including one that replaced Marnie.
The original 'Halloweentown' is the best out of the four and the number one original Disney Channel movie.
