Romance: Jade Butterfield (Brooke Shields) and David Axelrod (Martin Hewitt)
As high school students, Axelrod’s love for a 15-year-old Butterfield is passionate and complicated. Her parents do not approve of their young love, but this only drives them closer together. The passion is almost too strong when Axelrod burns down the house and is sent away, but the two keep seeing each other, until things get a little messy at the end.
