Bobby has been a father figure to the Winchesters for as long as he has known them. We had to say goodbye to Bobby in season 7 when he was shot by Dick Roman, but as all Supernatural fans know, death doesn’t keep you off the show. Bobby made a reappearance as a ghost keeping an eye on the brothers by a flask he left to Dean. Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to Bobby’s ghost because the brothers burn the flask at his request. However, the dead continue to come back on this show and he makes a brief return when Sam frees him from hell. Jim Beaver, who plays Bobby, has already tweeted that he will be returning for season 9. How will the creators pull this off?
