10. “Remix (I Like The)”
Off of their recent album appropriately titled 10, “Remix (I Like The)” has the boys singing about that girl everyone underestimates, the “wallflower” if you will. But the boys give this “wallflower” a voice as they sing about her, letting loose with lines like, “She was that girl in the corner/Thick-rimmed glasses/Everybody laughed/Every time she passed us/Ever the outcast/Had no flava/But who got the last laugh/ Hey/[Joey]Always came last/No one ever kissed her/Missing for days/But nobody missed her/She went from wallpaper/To heartbreaker/You shoulda seen her/Ooooo/[Donnie] Baby I like the new you/[Group] Oooh ooh/[Donnie]I like the Remix baby.” It's got an infectious dance beat with solos from the boys reminiscent of the old days. This is definitely a song that’s sure to be played in countless dance clubs by girls who may connect with this song because they were once a wallflower but can now break loose and have fun!
