Off their smash 1991 debut album Motownphilly, this song is a somber melody about how difficult it is to say goodbye to loved ones when they pass away. In 1992, the guys joined MC Hammer’s 2 Legit 2 Quit tour as Hammer’s opening act. While traveling the country, their manager Khalil Roundtree was gunned down in Chicago. So, all subsequent performances of this song were dedicated to him.
