3. Terminator 2: Judgment Day
The much anticipated sequel to the 1984 motion picture. Arnold returned as “The Terminator” but not to kill Sarah and a now teenage John, but to protect them from SkyNet’s latest “Terminator,” the ‘T-1000.’ The ‘T-1000’ was liquid metal and could morph into anything it touched, making it incredibly difficult to recognize and kill. It even morphed into Sarah to try to fool John but ended up in a vat of molten steel, thanks to Arnold’s resilience despite the ‘T-1000’ beating him to a virtual pulp. The ending was sweet as Arnold told John he had to be lowered into the molten steel as well to stop ‘Judgment Day.’ John didn’t want him to go since he’d grown attacked to “The Terminator,” but as Sarah lowered him in, “The Terminator,” gave them a thumbs-up that it was okay. Very classy for a cyborg!
