6. “My Everything” – What woman doesn’t want a man to tell them that they are his “everything?” Well, that was the premise for this track off of the band’s 2000 album Revelation. Unbridled emotion pervade this song as the boys convey the true depth of their love with lines such as, “You are my everything/Nothing your love won't bring/My life is yours alone/The only love I've ever known/Your spirit pulls me through/When nothing else will do/Every night I pray/On bended knee/That you will always be/My everything.” The video had each member confessing these emotions to the object of their love which for Nick, at the time was then-wife Jessica Simpson. Though that marriage fizzled, the deep sentiments articulated in this song make it timeless.
