1. “I Do (Cherish You)” – This song, off the band’s 1998 98 Degrees and Rising album, solidified the group’s romantic and sexy status in one felt swoop! It was no doubt the song for many a wedding and/or proposal that year given it’s incredibly romantic lyrics like, “All I am/All I'll be/Everything in this world/All that I'll ever need/Is in your eyes/Shining at me/When you smile I can feel all my passion unfolding/Your hand brushes mine/And a thousand sensations/Seduce me 'cause I/I do cherish you/For the rest of my life/You don't have to think twice/I will love you still/From the depths of my soul/It's beyond my control/I've waited so long to say this to you/If you're asking do I love you this much/I do.” The video had each band member conveying these lyrics to their love and girls all over the world sighed and fell head over heels for these open-hearted guys. But, with all the romance of the video came some humor too because at the end, the object of all four guys affections, actress/model Ali Landry, ended up marrying Dustin Diamond, better known as “Screech” from Saved by the Bell. Needless to say, the boys were more than chagrined to lose their girl to a geek but the sultry song got the message across regardless and made every girl swoon, myself included.
