Two TLC families who have reality shows on the network will face off on a special edition of Family Fued with host Steve Harvey. The stars of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo and Cake Boss will compete against each other for money to donate to charity.
Alana Thompson, former Toddlers & Tiaras star, and her family June “Mama” Shannon, Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson and her sisters Lauryn "Pumpkin" Shannon, Anna "Chickadee" Shannon, and Jessica "Chubbs" Shannon will go up against Buddy Valastro, wife Elisabetta Valastro and his his sisters Maddalena Castano, Lisa Gonzalez and Mary Sciarrone.
According to The LA Times, the family that wins will be able to donate cash to their favorite charities.
Cake Boss is currently in its sixth season and follows Valastro’s business in making unique cakes.
Here Comes Honey Boo Boo’s second season premiere takes place on Wednesday night and has arguably become a pop culture phenomenon.
The families will tape the show on July 22 in Atlanta.
