The Boston Bruins say that they didn’t really ‘Bieber’-proof its logo in the TD Bank Garden locker room, despite reports that they did. It was claimed that the Bruins did it in response to Justin Beiber’s controversial move to stand on the Chicago Blackhawks’ logo when he visited their arena.
Bieber angered hockey fans by posing with the Stanley Cup in the Blackhawks’ locker room, but that wasn’t the only outrageous thing he did there. He was also pictured standing on the Blackhawks’ logo ,which is considered disrespectful and a curse on the team. The picture even angered the Hawks’ Andrew Shaw so much that he tweeted, “Bro no stepping on the logo @justinbieber that's money on the board!”
According to NESN, a picture of the Bruins logo roped off circulated on Twitter and it was assumed that the team did this to make sure Beiber didn’t step on the iconic spoked-B logo.
However, Bruins public relations rep Matt Chmura took to Twitter to say that this was not the case. Boston.com reports that Chmura said that it hadn’t been roped off recently and that no one was in the locker room over the weekend.

So while the Bruins ‘Bieber-proofing’ the locker room sounds cool, it didn’t actually happen. Beiber did tweet about the Boston show writing, “Great show! Thank you Boston. The beliebers were wild tonight! Now...on to CANADA!!!”
