NBC’s America’s Got Talent began its live shows on Tuesday and viewers tuned in. The show experienced a big jump from the week before and lead the network to an easy victory.
NBC came in first with an average of 7.92 million viewers and a 2.2 18-49 rating. Following a repeat of Hollywood Game Night, AGT kicked off with 9.92 million viewers and jumped to 10.44 million viewers for the second hour. According to Deadline, it was the highest-rated English-language show in the demo since The Voice’s June 18 finale.

According to HitFix, CBS came in second with 5.95 million viewers, but its 0.8 18-49 rating was behind Fox and ABC. The network aired all repeats of NCIS, NCIS: LA and Person of Interest.
Fox was in third with 4.1 million viewers and a 1.4 18-49 rating for So You Think You Can Dance, which narrowed its field to 14 competitors.
ABC had 3.89 million viewers and a 1.0 18-49 rating. The network’s Extreme Weight Loss was up from last week and a Royal Heir special had 4.24 million viewers and a 0.9 18-49 rating.
The CW’s Whose Line Is It Anyway had 2.26 million viewers and a 0.9 18-49 rating. While that was down from last week, it’s still a big hit for the network. A new Perfect Score had 948,000 viewers and a 0.3 18-49 rating.
According to TheWrap, Univision pulled in 4 million viewers and a 1.6 18-49 rating.
