7. George (Steve Martin) and Annie Banks (Kimberly Williams) in Father of the Bride
Though George Banks is nervous and finding it difficult to accept that his baby girl is not only all grown up, but old enough to be getting married, he is there for his daughter when needed most. Though he wants to try and convince her to not marry her husband-to-be, he still pays for everything to give her the wedding of her dreams. The best moment that shows he truly loves his daughter though is when she says she is calling off the wedding because she thinks her fiance is making up stories about the antics George has pulled. Instead of celebrating because he got what he wanted, George sees that Annie really wants to be married, so he talks to her fiance and gets the two past their argument, and puts them 100 percent back on their way to wedded bliss.
