It took a lot for Danny Tanner to get past losing his wife and raising their three young daughters. Sure he enlisted the help of his brother-in-law Jesse and best friend Joey, but he was always a constant figure in his kids' lives, and always tried to teach them the right thing. By the time the show ended, D.J. was a college-bound do-gooder, Stephanie was a high school student who no longer felt as if being the middle child was a curse, and Michelle was a very well-adjusted elementary school kid who wasn’t suffering from really never having a chance to know her mother.
