Superman has made a lot of enemies for being so good. He's painted himself as a big target because he can take the punches that would obliterate your average Joe. This group is epitomized by Lex Luthor. Luthor is the ultimate human who hates Superman simply for being an alien. If Luthor had his way, they'd build a fence on the border of the planet and send all those aliens packing. He's a villainous bigot. Plus, just check this out:
