The band began as a country-folk-rock group in the ‘60s and has tried their hand in all sorts of genres. Even though “Fishin’” was the band’s third No. 1 single, it is arguably their most famous. While the music video merely features the band playing for a live audience, the lyrics speak for themselves when it comes to that summery feeling. “And it don’t matter if we sit forever and the fish don’t bite,” all that matters is that we enjoy the summer warmth, cool grass, and the river lit up by the night stars – together.
