8. Are You Afraid of the Dark? (1991-2000)
Another show which boasted a huge list of famous guest stars, Are You Afraid of the Dark? had the tendency to scare the pants off its young viewers every week. It was the television equivalent of reading a Goosebumps book, airing on SNICK late on Saturday nights. We all had a secret desire to be members of “The Midnight Society” even though it seemed really scary and grown up. Are You Afraid of the Dark? gave us ghost stories and supernatural tales, and always left viewers significantly creeped out.
