8. The Notebook
Another one I’m sure many could not disagree with more. Yes it is a cheesy romantic drama, but Nicholas Sparks created such a sense of untouched love in his book and Nick Cassavetes did an excellent job of bringing those feelings to life. It’s hard to imagine there’s a single person who did not tear up during those fateful scenes in the rain. The movie brought about lifelike emotions that the book could only dream about.
