10. Theresa (Robin Wright) and Jason (Jesse James) Osborne in Message in a Bottle; 1999
Though this movie focused more on the love story between Wright’s character and the one portrayed by Kevin Costner, there is a smaller sub-plot about her relationship with her young son that runs through it. Though Theresa is a career-oriented person, her son is so important to her, and she doesn’t do anything to make him uncomfortable. This is best seen when she takes her time introducing her son to Garrett. A mother who cares about her child’s comfort level makes sure that she doesn’t let any random person around them.
