Things aren’t going exactly as planned for actress Lindsay Lohan, who is currently serving 90 days in Betty Ford Rehab Center. Recent reports suggest that the Mean Girls actress is threatening to quit rehab if her Adderall is taken away.
TMZ reports that doctors evaluated LiLo an came to the conclusion that she does not need to be prescribed the drug which she claimed is needed for her Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
Sources close to the situation suggest that Lohan isn’t using the Adderall for ADHD, but instead as a means of weight control.
Lohan wants to be transferred to another rehab center if the doctors decide to take away the Adderall. However, it is unclear if Judge James Dabney will clear an order to send Lohan to another rehab center on the grounds that she get her meds.
The 26-year-old actress checked into Betty Ford earlier this month to begin her 90 day in treatment.
According to New York Daily News, Lohan previously told Piers Morgan that she felt rehab was “a joke,” just weeks after appearing on the Late Show with David Letterman where she told the host she felt that rehab was a “blessing” not “a curse.”
