Jennifer Aniston's stylist admits he was 'stoned' when he created 'The Rachel'

There’s no denying that women across the globe were dying for “The Rachel” haircut during Jennifer Aniston’s reign as the loving character Rachel Green on the 1990’s hit Friends. In the new issue of Women’s Wear Daily, where Aniston discusses her work with Living Proof, her stylist reveals that the famous layered cut came after he was completely stoned.

Us Weekly reports that the actress sat down with the magazine where the actress discusses her own tresses and the millions of women who fawn over them!

"I have wavy, frizzy hair," she explains of her own hair troubles. "I was looking at these girls who were not loving their hair, and I'm thinking, 'You have beautiful hair!'" she notes.

Aniston bought into the hair company Living Proof which she swears by to help out with the troubles she has with her own hair. "It's always funny, our perspective of ourselves and how incorrect it usually is…We always seem to want something we don't have. And it's a shame, because there's so much beauty to be appreciated in the world. We spend so much time not loving what we've been given and trying to make it look different."

As for her famous tresses which took the mid ‘90s by storm, longtime stylist Chris McMillan admits that he was stoned when he created what is now known as ‘The Rachel.’ “I’m 14 years sober, so I feel safe enough to say that,” he explains with a grin.

Aniston’s interview in WWD hits the shelves next week.
