8 – Once More I Can See

For those of you familiar with Alice in Wonderland, the musical Wonderland tells the story of a similar Alice and a return back to Wonderland for a sole purpose in which this song underscores. In this scene, Alice comes face to face with someone she thinks is her daughter. She’s been looking for her the whole time down in Wonderland, however, she realizes that the person she’s been searching for was her past self who reminds her of whom she used to be, and whom she used to love. This reminds her to never forget our childhood, to never grow up too fast. This musical had a short life, but its compositions, especially this one, still had such a great effect on viewers, live and virtual. This beautiful, relatable composition is credited to Frank Wildhorn.
