The benefit concert for victims of the devastation Hurricane Sandy will take place on 12/12/12 and residents of New Jersey will be able to watch it at their local movie theater. The concert, which features New Jersey natives Bruce Springsteen and Bon Jovi, will be able to be reviewed by 2 billion people globally. According to, the showings at more than a dozen New Jersey theaters will be free of charge and streamed live. It will all happen at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night, starting at 7:30pm. Organizers will give “every single penny” to local organizations to help those affected by the storm through Robin Hood Relief Fund. Joining Springsteen and Bon Jovi at the concert are Paul McCartney, Kanye West, Eric Clapton, The Who, Dave Grohl, Billy Joel, Alicia Keys, Chris Martin, The Rolling Stones, Eddie Vedder and Roger Waters. The Hollywood Reporter writes that organizers said on Monday that the event, which is accessible for 190 countries to see, will be the most widely distributed live musical event in history.
