1. Firefly (2002 - 2003)
Joss Whedon’s Firefly is a space Western that focuses on a diverse crew of outlaws. The show ran on Fox, which was probably not the best idea. Fox aired the episodes in the wrong order and failed to promote the show correctly. Despite its short 14-episode run, the show is loved by many fans, who call themselves “Browncoats.” Whedon created a movie with the original cast in 2005 called Serenity and the Science Channel aired a special, “Firefly 10th Anniversary: Browncoats Unite” on November 11, 2012.
