4. “Thunderkiss ‘65” White Zombie
Yet another song where we have no idea what’s going on. The bass-grove and the drums rule here. As does Rob Zombie’s dark, demonic delivery. Lyrics like, “Endless poetry - my motor-psycho nightmare freak out/Inside of me - my soul salvation liberation on the drive” could be very goofy, but Zombie makes it work here. And it’s excellent.
