Actor Johnny Depp is starting a new career as a book publisher. The Telegraph reported that Depp has joined with Harper Collins to publish works from famous authors as well as lesser-known writers. “I pledge, on behalf of Infinitum Nihil, that we will do our best to deliver publications worthy of peoples’ time, of peoples’ concern, publications that might ordinarily never have breached the parapet,” he said. “For this dream realised, we would like to salute HarperCollins for their faith in us and look forward to a long and fruitful relationship together.” One of the first books published under Depp and his Infinitum Nihil label will be The Unraveled Tales of Bob Dylan, which is set for publication in 2015. "Johnny and I thought the Dylan book was the ideal way to inaugurate the Infinitum Nihil series," the book’s author, Douglas Brinkley, said, according to E! News. "Bob has been very warm and forthcoming with us. His music has inspired us both deeply since we were teenagers." Another will be House of Earth, a previously-unpublished work from the late musician Woody Guthrie. “Infinitum Nihil will be a home for authentic, outspoken, and visionary ideas and voices, from authors both celebrated and unsung,” HarperCollins said in a statement.
