Last week, a suspicious package was sent to CBS Studios in Hollywood, where ABC is filming this season of Dancing with the Stars, which includes Bristol Palin as a contestant. Now, the FBI and LAPD are reportedly investigating. According to The Hollywood Gossip, the package, which contained a white powder substance, arrived at the studio lot in West Hollywood Wednesday. In it was a note that told producers to cut Palin, the daughter of former Alaska governor Sarah Palin, from the show, or else. TMZ reported that the note read, “This is what will happen to you if Bristol Palin stays on [the show],” according to CBS sources. The package was later found to be harmless, but law enforcement sources told TMZ Monday that the FBI and LAPD are on the scene investigating. They are checking to see if the package is related to a similar threat the show received in 2010, when Palin first appeared on DWTS. At that time, the show received a letter that also contained white powder that was also harmless. Still, the FBI did investigate. Bristol is still on the show, which is in the midst of its first all star season. Her professional dancer is Mark Ballas.
