After graduating high school with distinguished honors in June, Scott McCreery, the winner of the 10th season of American Idol, is heading straight to NC State University in the fall. In an interview with People, he said, “We're gonna work classes around [and] head out on the weekends on the road or something.” The country singer does not want to study music though since he learned about it while opening for Brad Paisley. “I think marketing would be a cool way of learning how to stay out there and stay current,” he said about his possible major.
