Better late than never; 51-year old Hugh Grant becomes a father for the first time for a little girl who was born last month. “I can confirm that Hugh Grant is the delighted father of a baby girl,” Grant's spokeswoman confirmed in an email to Reuters. According to E! Online, Grant had a “fleeting affair” with his daughter’s mother and even though the pregnancy wasn’t planned, the actor could not be any happier. He and the mother have discussed everything regarding their daughter and are on friendly terms. The identity of the mother has not been disclosed and there is no information regarding the details of the couple’s relationship. Hugh Grant has had previous relationships with model Elizabeth Hurley and British socialite Jemima Khan. While the Bridget Jones actor has not been seen much over the last year, his next role will be the voice of a captain in an animated pirate movie.
