Jenna Bush Hager Hired As "Today" Show Reporter

'Huawei': A foreshadowing name?

Chinesepod's Carlie discusses the meaning of the name 'Huawei' in light of the recent national security concerns of the Whitehouse

The former first daughter, Jenna Hager, has been hired as a reporter for the "Today" show.

Hager, better known as Jenna Bush, will continue her teaching job in Baltimore and occasionally contribute stories to the NBC show on topics that she is passionate about.

Hager told reporters, "I hope to focus on . . . education, urban education, women, and children's issues and literacy."

Hager is already the author of two books, "Ana's Story: A Journey of Hope" and "Read All About It!"

Hager claims that her status as a former first daughter will not be a topic of discussion on the show, insisting, "I don't think it's that interesting. I'm pretty normal."

Hager's first story is expect to air sometime in September.
