Elin Nordegren to Receive $100 Million

'Huawei': A foreshadowing name?

Chinesepod's Carlie discusses the meaning of the name 'Huawei' in light of the recent national security concerns of the Whitehouse

Despite early reports that Tiger Woods’ soon-to-be ex-wife, Elin Nordegren, would receive over $700 million in their divorce settlement, it appears Nordegren will receive a much smaller sum of money. KWGN reports that Nordegren will get $100 million. In addition, she has asked for child support for her two children, Sam, 3, and Charlie, 17 months. Reports also suggest that the settlement prevents Woods from bringing his new girlfriends around his children. Sam and Charlie are expected to live primarily with their mother. There are also reports that the settlement includes a confidentiality clause, which will prevent Woods’ wife from speaking about their marriage or his alleged affairs in interviews. The clause will also prevent her from writing a book about the events leading up to their divorce. The divorce is expected to be finalized sometime next week, making it one of the top ten most expensive celebrity divorces of all time.
