Jon Gosselin has been in a nasty, long fight with cable network TLC and in a statement released by the network, a settlement has been reached. The network released a statement saying, “TLC has reached a settlement with Jon Gosselin and will be undertaking procedural steps to conclude the litigation. The whole Gosselin family remain under contract with TLC.” The TV network had filed a lawsuit against Gosselin for an alleged breach of contract. The suit claimed that Gosselin’s paid and un-paid TV appearances were without the cable networks permission and therefore a violation of the agreement he had with TLC. Gosselin then filed a counterclaim of $5 million, claiming that the network was damaging his career by not allowing him to work with other networks. Their hit show on the TLC network, Jon & Kate Plus 8, was canceled after news of their separation. Gosselin even forbade TLC cameras from filming his 8 children and ex-wife Kate. UsMagazine.com reports that Kate, Gosselin’s ex-wife will star in her own series coming out later this year.
