Fightin' Sean Connery

'Huawei': A foreshadowing name?

Chinesepod's Carlie discusses the meaning of the name 'Huawei' in light of the recent national security concerns of the Whitehouse

Sean Connery engaged in battle? What sort of fiend has challenged the original James Bond? According to the New York Daily News, it's his neighbor.

Connery has been locked in verbal - and legal - battles with a townhouse neighbor. And the battle is not over yet.

Dr. Burton Sultan has been filing lawsuits against the popular Scottish actor, claiming that renovations done by Connery and others to a shared townhouse has caused serious discomfort. Sultan has contested that the shared East Side townhouse has been the site of enmity between the two sides, since Connery engaged in a repair of the roof.

In 2005, Sultan called Connery a "foulmouthed, fat old man," and an "ogre." He also accused Connery of having played music at 'all hours.'"

Connery has given his share as well, filing counter lawsuits in Manhattan and Nassau County.

Ophthalmologist Sultan has not reported Connery's loud activities to involve saving the world from KGB agents, having crazy bachelor parties, or escaping from murderous lasers. However, at this time, the lawsuits don't appear to be stopping anytime soon.
