MY husband didn't think she sounded good enough.
In the early 70's, a girl and her dad came to our house to look at a 10-speed bike we had listed for sale. My husband had a recording studio and the father mentioned that his daughter liked to sing and would my husband record her. Husband said yes and did several recordings, but didn't really like her voice, so he suggested she go elsewhere for a career start. She did and the rest is history. It was Tanya Tucker and her father, Beau Tucker.
