I met Michael Landon at a restaurant while eating breakfast in Fort Madison, Iowa. He was the celebrity for the Fort Madison, Iowa rodeo celebration. It was in the 1960s. I had a terrible time convincing my dad it was him. Finally I just got up, walked over to the table and got his autograph on a napkin.
