Willa Ford Plays Anna Nicole in Biopic

The singer will portray Anna Nicole Smith in the indie film based on her life in the public eye.
Self proclaimed “bad girl of pop,” Willa Ford will play Anna Nicole Smith in an indie biopic chronicling the fallen starlet’s life from 17 years old up until her death of a drug overdose.
The simply titled Anna Nicole will feature the highs and lows of Smith’s life from a pole dancer to Playboy centerfold to widow of a billionaire to reality TV star to grieving mother.
Filming will begin next week and will be directed by Keoni Waxman. Additional casting has not been announced.
Ford bares a striking resemblance to Smith and has also posed for Playboy. Her hit single, “I Wanna be Bad,” launched her to moderate fame in 2001. She later appeared in tabloids as the on-off girlfriend of Backstreet Boy Nick Carter. She recently competed in the third installment of Dancing with the Stars, where she was voted off after five weeks.
