Broadway’s “Grease“ Stars Announced

Max Crumm and Laura Osnes won the starring roles on “Grease: You’re the One That I Want.“
It was announced on the NBC series Grease: You’re the One That I Want that Max Crumm and Laura Osnes will be playing the roles of Danny and Sandy, respectively, for the Broadway revival of the show.
According to BroadwayWorld.com, odd-ball Crumm moved to Los Angeles three years ago to pursue acting and discovered that he was happiest doing theater. He eventually won viewers over when he cut his hair for the show. Osnes wanted this opportunity so badly that she even postponed her wedding in order to be on the series. Guest judge Andew Lloyd Webber was heavily impressed by her performance ability.
Twelve contestants have been competing over the past few weeks for the coveted roles, performing for the judges and viewers, who also cast their own votes.
Kathleen Marshall will direct and choreograph the show, which will open on August 19, 2007. Tickets are now on sale.
