Kristen Bell Goes Burlesque

Kristen Bell will star alongside Christina Aguilera in the musical-drama “Burlesque“
Kristen Bell will co-star as Christina Aguilera’s rival in the new musical-drama “Burlesque” directed by Steve Antin.
The “Couples Retreat” star will play Nikki a lead dancer and main attraction at a club who loses control when Aguilera’s character becomes the center of attention.
“Burlesque” is about an ambitious small-town girl with a powerful voice, who finds love and success at a Los Angeles burlesque club.
Casted in the movie is Cher who will appear as the burlesque club owner and Stanley Tucci, the man that helps Aguilera transform from bumpkin to bombshell and “Twilight” villain Cam Gigandet.
Gigandet will play Aguilera’s love interest, he says of his character, "Christina and I meet, fall in love, and drama ensues."
Screen Gem studios will produce the movie. Antin is the brother of Pussycat Dolls founder Robin Antin.
The film will begin shooting in November 9 and a release date for Thanksgiving 2010.
