T.R. Knight will star in the Donmar Warehouse production of "Parade."

After confirming his departure from "Grey's Anatomy", T.R. Knight has revealed his upcoming plans. According to the Los Angeles Times, Knight will be starring as Leo Frank in the Donmar Warehouse production of "Parade."

The show is scheduled to open at the Mark Taper Forum in Los Angeles on October 24.

"Parade" is a 1998 musical conceived by director Harold Prince, composer and lyricist Jason Robert Brown, and author Alfred Uhry. Tony-winner Rob Ashford will choreograph and direct the story of Leo Frank's arrest, conviction, and lynching in Atlanta after the Civil War, the L.A. Times reports.

After his five-year tenure playing the sweet yet often unnoticed Dr. George O'Malley on "Grey's," Knight said he is excited to return to the world of musical theater. He previously appeared on Broadway in 2001 in "Tartuffe" as well as in "Noises Off."

"I am very fortunate to return to the theater playing Leo Frank in this incredible, acclaimed production of 'Parade,'" Knight said. "After a five-year break, it feels great to be on stage again."
