Fox will be debuting a new dating show at the end of July but this show won’t be your typical dating contest program, it will be hosted by plus-size model Emme.
Fox will be premiering a new dating show entitled “More to Love” which will be hosted by plus-size model Emme.
According to an article on HollywoodReporter.com, “Emme became the first ‘plus-size’ model to land a contract as a cosmetics company spokesperson when she signed with Revlon. She's written four books, including ‘True Beauty,’ and has been a vocal advocate for women adopting a healthy lifestyle.”
Mike Fleiss will be the show’s executive producer. Fleiss is also the executive producer of the TV Land channel’s television series “The Cougar” hosted by Vivica A. Fox and was the producer of 2007’s “Hostel, Part II.”
Emme, whose real name is Melissa Aronson, was born in New York City but was raised in Saudi Arabia.
Emme previously hosted “Fashion Emergency” on the E! channel where she dispensed fashion advice to women of all ages. During the 1990s, Emme had a column entitled “Ask Emme” in Mode magazine and was named one of People magazine's "50 Most Beautiful People" in 1994 and again in 1999.
1997 was a banner year for Emme as Glamour magazine named her “Woman of the Year” and the Ladies’ Home Journal selected her as one of its "Most Fascinating Women of the Year.”
Finally, in 1999, Emme was named as one of Ladies’ Home Journal’s "Most Important Women in America.”
Other details about the show have yet to be announced but “More to Love” will make its debut on Fox on Tuesday, July 28.
