Brad Pitt Sets the Record Straight

In the latest issue of W magazine, “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” actor claims reports of a feud between ex-wife Jennifer Aniston and current girlfriend Angelina Jolie are untrue.
In The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Brad Pitt plays a man who is born an old man and ages backwards. According to Extra, he now tells W magazine that he feels like the rumors surrounding his personal life are moving in the wrong direction as well.
Gossip about a possible affair between Pitt and Mr. and Mrs. Smith costar Angelina Jolie spread like wildfire during that film's production, at which time Pitt was still married to Friends actress Jennifer Aniston.
Since then, Pitt and Aniston have gone through a very public divorce, and Pitt has openly acknowledged a subsequent relationship with Jolie, with whom he has had three biological children and adopted three more.
Pitt has always maintained, however, that his relationship with Jolie did not begin until after he and Aniston were formally separated. "It doesn't mean there was some dastardly affair," says Pitt, "I'm very proud of the way it was handled. It was respectful."
Unfortunately for Pitt, rumors began circulating again after Vogue magazine implied that Aniston felt that Jolie's behavior towards her was "really uncool."
"I think she just got dragged into that one," replies Pitt, "and then there's a second round to all that Angie versus Jen. It's so created."
