Cate Blanchett Refuses Plastic Surgery

The actress claims her husband won’t allow it.
Actress Cate Blanchett claims she could never have plastic surgery, reports People magazine. Blanchett, who currently stars in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, a film about a man who ages backwards, says that her husband won’t let that happen to her.
“I haven’t done anything, but who knows. Andrew said he’d divorce me if I did anything,” Blanchett explains.
The actress adds that it isn’t all her husband’s idea. She appreciates her body, saying, “When you’ve had children, your body changes; there’s history to it. I like the evolution of that history; I’m fortunate to be with somebody who likes the evolution of that history.”
She also said that Hollywood’s attitude towards youth and aging is to blame for many young actors. “If you grow up in an environment where your mother gets you a boob job when you turn 18, what hope is there?”
