“Yes Man” Star Zooey Deschanel Is Engaged

People magazine reports that the 28-year-old actress is engaged to lead singer Ben Gibbard from Death Cab for Cutie.
The 32-year-old musician had popped the question to Deschanel the weekend before Christmas. No date has been set as to when the two will marry, but it will be the first marriage for both of them.
Deschanel is currently starring in the film, Yes Man, with actor Jim Carrey. Also, in March of 2008, she released her first album, Volume One, with her band, She & Him.
