Watch Out, Rags: Kelly Ripa You a New One!

Kelly Ripa is not taking this sitting down. The talk show host is not happy about false rumors of her marriage’s demise.
Apparently you really can't believe everything you read. After a recent National Enquirer piece claiming that Ripa and her longtime hubby, Mark Consuelos, had split, the power couple took action against the infamous tabloid.
The star of Regis & Kelly apparently sent lawyers to tackle the situation. A strong statement was made, basically calling the tabloid on the publishing of a story that the paper's editors allegedly knew to be false.
According to reports, the tabloid ran a story chronicling the breakup of the marriage, due to differing career aspirations.
This just goes to show the age old adage: Print libel about Kelly, and she'll Ripa you a new one.
