Alyson Hannigan Is “Excited” About Motherhood

The “How I Met Your Mother” star opens up about being pregnant.
A pregnant Alyson Hannigan recently opened up to Us magazine about the ins and outs of her pregnancy so far.
She can’t find out the sex of her baby yet, and that is upsetting as she told the magazine, "I'm not very patient, and it's hard to wait!"
That’s because as a first time mom, the How I Met Your Mother star says, "I’m excited, very excited."
And judging by recent red carpet pics with hubby Alexis Denisoft at the Best Friends Animal Society's 15th Annual Lint Roller Party in Hollywood, the father-to-be is looking pretty excited himself as he proudly rubs the mom-to-be’s belly.
The couple are all smiles in the new pics and reportedly have many well wishers as Hannigan told Us that she has been getting help preparing for her little bundle’s nursery and even in getting maternity clothes for herself.
"Well, you know, I've been very fortunate because people are already sending things so they're doing the job for me!" said Hannigan.
She’s a mom-to-be wearing labels as Hannigan told the magazine, "Pea in the Pod sent me my first maternity top!"
Not that she needs it quite yet as the actress adds, "I'm just wearing an empire waist - anything to disguise the little tummy."
As her baby isn’t due till spring, when asked about baby names she joked around telling the magazine that she won’t go in the direction of Gwen Stefani and name her child Zuma.
"I don't know yet, but definitely not Zuma!" said Hannigan. "That is taken!"
She and hubby Denisoft have been married since 2003.
